Our dog Marshall was returned home safe and well, having been cared for by two very kind people (Nicola and Toby) that found him in berkshire. We were distraught without him, and I can't thank you or them enough for reinuniting us. warmest regards Karen Davies and Marshall xxx

| | Instant tracking | We have now modified the way we add information about individual labs to the site.
You can now see all the relevant sightings info, news updates etc or just comments below the entries themselves and not in the forums.
This keeps everything in one place and makes it easier to see what is going on.

| Thanks from the USA | I wanted to immediately tell you how much I appreciated the very prompt response (within minutes) to my request to utilize your Lost Dog Checklist in our Newsletter for the Allegheny Pekingese Club of Pittsburgh, PA, USA of which I am President and Editor of the Newsletter.
Rhoni responded to my request and was extremely helpful and provided me with additional, updated material. She has to be a very special person.
I commend you for the volunteer work you do - I know it requires much patience, dedication and love for our wonderful animals. Our pets are really "family" to most of us and it goes without saying the attachment is very emotional and forever.
Thank you again and keep up the good work.
Best regards to all,
Edee

| Dog Theft Action Scanner Appeal | DTA Scanner Appeal
Dog Theft Action is celebrating its new charitable status by launching a new fundraising campaign.
DTA’s mission statement promises to encourage dog owners to do all in their power to reduce the incidence of dog theft.
Now the action group that is committed to permanent identification is raising money to buy microchip scanners which will be presented to rescue and welfare charities that care for dogs found straying.
Over the past year DTA has received a positive response from charities that are keen to warn dog owners of the dangers of dog theft.
Discussions with some welfare and rescue charities have shown that there is a willingness and enthusiasm to microchip dogs before they are rehomed.
